I think it’s obvious how crazy I am about blue. Let me know if I talk about it too much.
It’s common knowlege that if you’re looking to create the ultimate in classic interiors, it’s best to go the blue and white route. Ginger jars eptiomize this line of thinking. I can remember my grandmother’s kitchen was completely covered in blue willow and ginger jars. At the time, I wrote them off as ”granny-ish.” Now, I adore the crisp look of ginger jars.
Only now, it seems to me that the new take on the ever-classic ginger jar is print. Keep reading and I think you’ll see that what’s old is new again.
Tried and true …
This Barclay Butera room is like a game of I Spy.
This image came from Cadeau Registry. No need for the embellishment of a tablecloth. A collection of ginger jars is more than enough.
My Pink Sketchbook posted this old House Beautiful picture, and it is still just as beautiful as it was years ago.
Paint Me White added a couple to an entryway …
The new spin …
Devon Baer‘s gallery wall from the latest Matchbook. Who said the jars couldn’t be prints?
Annechovie offers pillows, phone cases, and stamps — oh my!
